The Renal Dialysis Center has 12 main stations and one isolation station with the capacity to serve 72 patients.
The Renal Dialysis Center also offers two Home Therapy Programs to choose from, Home Hemodialysis and Home Peritoneal Dialysis.
Acute treatments for hospitalized patients are also available.
Education
Free dialysis education classes or individual sessions are available to the public by calling the Tri-State Dialysis Center and requesting more information on CHOICES education.
Social and Dietary Services
A full-time licensed master level Social Worker works as part of the health care team at Tri-State Memorial Hospital’s outpatient dialysis unit. There is also a full-time Registered Dietitian to meet the unique needs of dialysis patients. Nephrology social work and dietary services support and maximize the psycho social functioning and individual dietary needs of patients who are experiencing end stage renal disease. These services are provided to help relieve the social and emotional stresses resulting from end stage renal disease as well as the ever changing nutritional needs of dialysis patients.
Hours of Operation
The Tri-State Dialysis Center is open six days a week. There are three patient shifts to provide for patients’ three-time-per-week treatments.
