COVID-19: Information You Can Trust

Tri-State Memorial Hospital is dedicated to providing timely and accurate information regarding COVID-19 and immunizations.
All people in Washington State 6 months and older are eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine. Learn more below!

MASKS ARE REQUIRED

Everyone who enters a Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus facility is still required to wear a mask, even if they are fully vaccinated.
The Centers for Disease Control and the State of Washington require everyone to be masked in health care settings. Guidance from the CDC removing some masking requirements for fully vaccinated people still requires masking in health care settings.

Patient & Visitor Guidelines

In an effort to keep everyone safe, please take note of, and follow these guidelines while visiting loved ones at Tri-State Memorial Hospital.

  • Everyone will be screened for COVID-19 prior to entry, this includes a small questionnaire. The visitor will not be allowed to enter the facility if symptomatic.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before entering and leaving a patient’s room.
  • Masks are required at all times.
  • No age limit for visitors.

Inpatients are allowed two visitors allowed at a time; no limit to the number of visitors throughout the day

  • Visitors hours are from 8:00am to 7:00pm and the visitor must arrive between 8:00am and 6:30pm to be screened. 
  • Visitors are required to be screened at the Admissions entrance

Emergency Department patients are allowed up to two visitors at a time who will adhere to all masking and screening requirements.

 Radiology, lab, and respiratory therapy –

  • One visitor is allowed to accompany patients to their appointments in these departments.

 Perioperative & Day Surgery –

  • Visitors are not allowed to accompany outpatients past the reception desk except under specific circumstances. 
  • When a patient returns from recovery and is placed in a room, the nurse will call the family and one visitor will be allowed to sit with the patient for the remainder of their stay. (Excluding GI patients)

Ambulatory Clinics (Family Practice, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Urology, etc.) –

  • One visitor is allowed to escort the patient to the reception area, and then the visitor must leave, unless there is a special circumstance determined on a case by case basis. 
  • Pediatric patients may be accompanied by their caregiver(s).

COVID-19 TESTING

Tri-State Minor Care Center

Tri-State Minor Care’s hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. These hours are subject to change.

  • Currently conducting COVID-19 testing on symptomatic patients only
  • With a providers order, you can get tested at Tri-State Minor Care. After your primary care provider has sent your testing order, please check in at the front desk, with your insurance card and photo ID. Reception will guide you on next steps.

You will receive a paper COVID vaccination card after your first vaccine dose. If you receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, you will need to return for a second dose and have it documented on your card. If you receive Johnson & Johnson, you will only have a single dose recorded on the card. If you are eligible and choose to receive a booster vaccine, please bring your card to your appointment for documentation to be made on the vaccine card. 

 If you lose your COVID-19 vaccine card, please visit WA.MyIR.net and follow the registration instructions. At MyIR you can review and print your immunization records.

You can also access your vaccine information at WAVerify.orgThis website provides SMART Health Cards and QR codes with your vaccination information. 

All COVID-19 Vaccines are free but will be accompanied by an administration fee. 

Please bring your insurance card with you to your vaccine appointment. 

If you do not have insurance, you will not be turned away. The vaccine will still be provided. 

COVID-19 vaccination will help protect people from getting COVID-19 and prevent serious illness if COVID-19 is contracted. You may have side effects from receiving the vaccine, which is a normal sign that you body is building protection.

Individuals are considered up-to-date on the COVID-19 vaccine when they have received all doses in the primary series and all booster doses recommended for them, when eligible.
